Who's Who: Support Staff
 

HOLLIS HAMILTON (Assistant Stage Manager)
hails originally from England and is happy to participate for the second time with TBTB, having worked as quick change person on Hamlet for them last year. Hollis is primarily an actress and has worked in theatre, film, television and radio on both sides of the Atlantic. New AEA member.

  FRANCIS ERIC E. MONTESA (Stage Manager)
is happy to return after working on Hamlet. He directed Scenes from A Raisin in the Sun, A Centennial Celebration of Langston Hughes and stage managed A Cultural Celebration for Actors Equity. He has also directed for the 42nd Street Collective. He has also been Stage Manager for Romeo & Juliet for Princeton Rep Shakespeare Festival and Stealing Sweets and Punching People for the Summer Play Festival; The Tempest for the Arkansas Repertory Theatre; Falstaff for The Shakespeare Project; Driving Miss Daisy and Charley's Aunt for the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival; Welcome to our City for Mint Theatre Company; Awake & Sing! w/ Anne Jackson and Dark Laughter for The Actors' Studio; Murder in Mind at Ubu Rep; Tenessee's Final Curtain for Random Arts and Regionally for the Wayside Theatre (Va.), Source Theatre Co. Arena Stage, The Shakespeare Theatre (Washington, DC) and the Centenary Stage (Pa.). Eric has done National Tours of Porgy & Bess, How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying,  Singin' in the Rain, Titanic, and Crazy For You.   BRAD L. SCOGGINS (Costume Designer)
Recent credits include Costume Design for such NY-area theatre companies as Naked Angels, St. Bart's Players, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Manhattan Children's Theatre, Henry Street Settlement and Theatre for the New City, among numerous others; Puppet and/or Mask Design for Papermill Playhouse, The NYC Ballet and more; Associate Costume Design on numerous Off-Broadway and regional productions and several national tours. As a freelance Crafts Artisan, Brad has built puppets, masks, hats, specialty costumes and more for numerous projects ranging from various theme parks, dance and opera companies, film and television productions, to Broadway's Pacific Overtures and The Lion King (among others). Brad is a proud graduate of the Design/Technology program at SUNY Purchase College.
 

BERT SCOTT (Lighting Designer)
designed lights for TBTB's Hamlet, Oedipus, Dial M for Murder, When I'm 64, and Ten Little Indians, after first working with them on their production of Brecht On Brecht. He has designed lights and/or scenery for many regional theaters, scenery for Dora the Explorer Live for Nickelodeon/Paramount Parks, and has taught on the design faculties of The University of Michigan and Binghamton University-SUNY. Currently, Bert is head of the theater design and technology program at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Upcoming: The Merry Wives of Windsor for the Orlando Shakespeare Festival.

 

MEROPE VACHLIOTI (Set Designer)
As the resident set designer for Theater By The Blind she designed Hamlet (Mint), Oedipus (Mint), Dial M For Murder (Blue Heron), When I'm 64 (Blue Heron), Ten Little Indians (Blue Heron), Brecht On Brecht (Blue Heron), Murder In Baker Street (Mint), Misalliance (Mint), The Unexpected Guest (30th Street Theatre), and Blind Spots (Irish Repertory). Last season she designed three shows for the Penobscot Theatre in Maine - The Crucible, The Smell of the Kill and Long Day's Journey Into Night. Over 20 productions in New York include: Long Road Home (Hudson Guild), The Unconscious Motives of the Motion Picture Industry (Ontological-Hysteric), The Mysteries of Eleusis (BAM), and The Lady From The Sea (Mitzi E. Newhouse). Recent projects: Mehmet Gömert Exhibition Stand (Hilton Hotel, Istanbul), and a summer resort called Garp made out of simple materials in Babakale, a small village in Turkey, which is the most western point of Asia.
